BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP PROMISES TO MAKE A WINTER SPLASH

An agreement between UNI-SYSTEMS and LIBART will give customers unlimited options for enjoying the outdoors during all seasons. 

Uni-Systems, LLC, a Minneapolis-based engineering firm specializing in kinetic architecture, and Libart LTD, a company that designs retractable outdoor enclosures for pools or patios reached a mutual representation agreement that will allow each company to advertise and represent the other to offer clients the best product for their needs.

“We’re very excited to partner with Libart,” said Bart Riberich, president of Uni-Systems. “Their products are very versatile and durable, and we look forward to working with the Libart team to expand the portfolio of kinetic architectural products and services that we have to offer.”

Libart’s retractable enclosures are effortlessly closed by hand and are constructed with standard components that allow for custom designed application. The enclosures allow outdoor pools or patios to be used in warm, controlled environments during any season, no matter how cold it is or how much snow is on the ground.

An immediate joint project will see Libart developing a larger system capable of spanning at least 100 feet in width with a mechanization feature designed by Uni-Systems. Libart will also use its extensive list of distributors to introduce Uni-Systems to clients looking for larger customized enclosures. “

Libart makes a wonderful product,” said Pete Fervoy, business development manager at Uni-Systems, “and if a customer is looking for some added mechanization, our engineers will design a custom solution based on the already successful enclosures Libart manufactures.”

Uni-Systems, in turn, will focus on marketing Libart enclosures to architects, developers, and contractors of commercial projects like resorts, hotels, and restaurants. Uni-Systems engineers’ experience has given them a thorough understanding of the advantages kinetic architecture can offer to commercial clients.

“Sometimes a fully custom solution is not the answer,” added Fervoy. “When that happens, Uni-Systems will be able to present clients with Libart’s retractable enclosures as an affordable option for the indoor/outdoor comfort and versatility that kinetic architecture offers.”

Uni-Systems has also worked with several clients involved in the water park industry. This new business relationship will provide the perfect team to bring year-round usability to water parks and resorts. “

By partnering with Libart we intend on making a big splash in the commercial pool market through our connections in the water park industry,” said Riberich. “With this agreement, we’re embarking on a strategic initiative to become a one-stop-shop for all things associated with kinetic architecture.”
