Emaar, a name synonymous with architectural excellence, chose Libart’s SunRoof retractable skylight to enhance the courtyard of its flagship hospitality project—Address Hotel in Istanbul. Nestled between two walls and located below entrance level, the hotel’s restaurant courtyard was in need of natural light, ventilation, and a luxurious outdoor feel.
Libart delivered two fully automated retractable glass roofs, each serving a different restaurant within the courtyard. These custom-designed skylights provide a 100% opening capacity thanks to a telescopic system that smoothly slides into hidden pockets built during the construction phase.
When opened, the system offers an airy, open-sky ambiance that elevates the dining experience. When closed, the insulated glass roof continues to let in daylight while maintaining a comfortable indoor climate. This architectural solution transforms the space into a year-round, all-weather courtyard—without compromising on elegance or guest comfort.
The addition of the SunRoof system brings a refined sense of openness to the Address Hotel’s F&B areas, making them ideal for luxury dining, private events, or relaxed social gatherings.
